A second generation greasepainter, Deirdre was almost born on the stage. After an unusual and interesting childhood peppered with many colorful characters, she went on to get a Bachelor of Fine Arts from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts studying at Circle-in-the-Square and Playwright’s Horizons in addition to early training received at A.C.T. and The Drama Studio of London. Life took a detour and a lovely angel alighted on earth to share the journey with her and what a journey it’s been leading her to find her niche as a standup comic. She has performed at the Laugh Factory, The Ha Ha Cafe, The World Famous Comedy Store, The Ice House and Flappers in L.A. (in addition to many coffee houses, dive bars, restaurants and even a laundrymat once, seriously). she has also performed in the 2010, 2011 & 2012 Eagle Rock Comedy Festivals. 2015 marks 14 years as a standup comic.
