They say it takes a village to raise a child and let me tell you since my daughter turned 18 and is heading off to college soon, I find myself reflecting back on all those who made it possible for me to raise this amazing being. There were many who watched my girl in the early years when I couldn’t always afford babysitting, who took her to plays, art shows, did yoga with her, helped her w/homework, took her swimming and countless other activities because one person can’t be your everything as awesome as I am (and I am…in some ways but…)…to my village – I will not call you out individually but I hope you know who you are – THANK YOU! Your kindness and efforts did not go unnoticed and I hope that you were paid forward even tho’ I could not at the time. I am grateful and just know – she turned out great….beyond great actually!
