Is it random when you bump into an old friend that has been absent from your life for years or is there more to it than that? I have had such occurences a handful of times throughout my life and each time it never felt haphazard. Whether it is serendipity (good fortune, luck), kismet (fate, destiny) or happenstance (a chance happening or event), I guess depends on you and what you believe. I think each time for me, I’d have to go w/kismet! The question is, what do you do w/it? Do you leave it to exist as its own encapsulated moment, or do you allow it to take on a life all its own?
